Miss Mmmmm asked: well i dont understand what a dramatic foil is in general. but an example is that mrs. linde is a dramatic foil to nora, because nora exposes her secrets to her. how is mrs linde a dramatic foil to nora? this is for my homework, so any help would be appreciated, or any other characters in A doll's house.
thank you.

Because upon the arrival os Mrs. Linde, Nora’s secret unravals. Moreover, Mrs L is the exact opposite of Nora ( the definition of foil is a character that contrast the protagonist). For ex: Mrs. L worked all her life and Nora was the doll in the house(naive); Mrs. L in the end binds herself to a man while Nora frees herself from Torbald.
