Doesn’t she the chance to talk to Krogstad and get him to leave Nora alone and not blackmail her. Also, she knows that accepting the job at the bank means Krogstad is out of a job as well. Her decision to take the job and not speak to Krogstad sets into motion Nora and Torvald’s confrontation at the end of the play.
